How do i fix hp dv2000 that would not go pass the microsoft corporation bar

it seems like hp laptops are not that dependable, i thot they were top of the line but anyway i was wondering if i can get help with this so i have a hp dv2000 but after a ms update it has never been the same, i would turn it on and then when it gets to the microsoft corporation screen which is like at the bottom of the screen it would not go pass it, it will just have a black screen after it and i have tried booting it in safe mode but it says loadig windows files and it shows the files been loaded but does not go pass that neither and i tried booting it with the hp disc that didnt work either, i’m to my wits on this please! somebody help! urgent
