How do I incorporate an image in the body of an email?

Hello everybody, and Merry Christmas.

Please could some kind soul tell me how I can include a full-sized image into the body of an email?

When for example I select the code for “email” in Photobucket, all I get in the message is a link; I want the picture to appear!
