How do I share email in Windows XP Pro

I manage a small club network. They have an XP Pc on a Win 98SE LAN. I need to share email access, on the NTFS XP PC, with some of the staff but not all who can log on. I have tried moving Outlook.pst to the Shared folder without success. I have also tried adjusting the security settings.
Can anyone offer a useful suggestion?
