How do I unlock my hacked laptop?
My HP laptop running Windows 10 randomly locked up.
I type in my pin and it says “Your credentials could not be verified”.
Trying to change my pin says “Something went wrong and your pin isnt available (status 0xc000006d, substatus;0x0”
I try with my password and it says its wrong, even though I just changed it 30 seconds earlier.
I then hold shift and hit restart. I click on ‘startup repair’ and click on my username. I then have this UNKNOWN Russian email show up prompting me for a password.
I somehow enter the right password and it says ‘startup repair couldn’t repair your PC’
I put my harddrive in another computer and it does the exact same thing meaning its a harddrive issue.
How do I get back into my laptop? Wiping the hardrive is NOT an option, as the files are more important than the computer itself.
