How do you install Office SR-1 Administr

I’ve got an Administration Install Point for Office 2000, I’ve downloaded the 143MB update for it, when I run the .exe file, It gives me a big .msp file, when I double click it, it tells me it can only update an administrative install, then exits. I’ve tried running it in the folder where the install point is. I’ve found no directions for this anywhere, and I’m starting to get really peeved. Can anyone tell me how you do this?
