Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for aproblem I have.
I have a user who likes to take his laptop home to work on. At work his has an external monitor which he uses as a second monitor to extend his desktop, but he doesn’t use an external monitor at home.
So everytime he uses it at home, his external monitor becomes inactive and remains inactive when he comes to work the next morning. I end up getting called to make the second monitor active again through the “settings” tab in display properties which he can’t see for security reasons.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get him to make the external monitor active again, without giving him access to “settings” tab in the display properties.
He is running Windows XP (I know this may be difficult for some people because they haven’t used XP for a while, but any help would be appreciated).
