How many mobile phones in the UK/Europe sold in 2006

I’d like to know how many handsets were sold in 2006 in the UK, because I want to calculate the percentage of Symbian phones in the market place.

A simple Google search tells me that 1 billion have been sold worldwide mostly in emerging countries. Where can I get figures from?
