How many of the TR Peers actually ‘USE’ their Desktop ? …

I’m curious as to how many users favour their Desktop as a ‘productive unit’ as opposed to those other users that (like me) would invoke some form of file manager.

The entire concept of Drag&Drop has always been strangely alien to me. I’ve never quite trusted it. Probably because you are reliant on ‘things happening beyond your scope of view’ – I’ve never felt comfortable DRAGGING something somewhere on the assumption that it would arrive.

Without clear and visible evidence to support a file’s arrival, I’ve witnessed users come adrift at a later stage, proclaiming that the file WAS SENT TO xyz!!

I’m afraid I’ll always favour the use of a descriptive file manager over any D&D that may be available.
