How to add new packages to a network installer

I have a Solaris 10 network installer built, but need to add new XVR-300 packages/drivers (and patches) to the mini-root. Can someone provide instructions on how to do this. I think I need to use the ‘pkgadd -R’ and the ‘patchadd -C’ commands, but I’m not sure.
