I have been in the technology field for about 8 years doing everything from Helpdesk to Network Admin and infrastructure and eventually moved to management (for the last 3 years). I feel very removed from technology as, even though I am an IS Manager for a very large firm, most of what I do is “people” related. While I like my job, I would also like to begin to develop a career that would allow me to stay at home, eventually, if I choose to do so. With that in mind I am considering getting certified as a WebMaster. Do you have any advice on how to get started as a sideline first? Should I buy a Macintosh PC for this type of work? Invest in online training?
Thank you!
