How to Installing katana on usb?

I extracted the linux image katana to usb from www.hackfromacave.com. Followed instructions to make it bootable. Problem is when I try to boot to usb, I get the error: “Can’t find system kernel: linux”. Had katana installed before but now it just won’t work…….Any ideas???
