How to remove Linux Mast Boot Record

I had Linux OS loaded on my computer. Now I want to remove Linux and Want to install Windows 2000. I removed the partition using fdisk. Booted from Windows 2000 CD. After copying some of the file when its satrting windows 2000 setup screen it going blank. Next screen it suppose to ask to install Windows 2000 press enter screen. I tried creating a partion using fdisk and formated. But still my system does not boot. Its stop showing GRUB. I know may be Linux is still exist in master boot record. How to remove it. Any Tips will be helpful!!!
