Tried searching the forums for help, couldn’t find anything close. I
bought an OEM version of XP Pro full install and installed it on my
mac. Now, I’m in Europe visiting my in-laws, and decided it would be
better if they had XP Pro (instead of XP Home) on my laptop that I am
lending them, (because I believe XP Pro supports other languages and
Home doesn’t, which would help them out a lot, as they don’t speak
English.)
So I installed it on my other laptop (Fujitsu) and got the message, “The
number of times you can activate Windows with this product key has
been exceeded.” (Obviously, since I already activated it on the mac.)
Here’s my question: Can I uninstall the XP Pro from the mac in a way
that will free up the product key so that I can LEGALLY install it on the
Fujitsu? Or am I forced to purchase another XP Pro install disc? (Not
an option here in Romania, as it’s too expensive here, and eBay will
take too long to ship)
