I need to restore Web Folders (a component of Microsoft Internet Explorer). They’ve
disapeared from my computer (Windows Explorer, File Dialog Boxes, etc.)
I have Windows
2000 Advanced Server installed (at home), and have also loaded MS Office 2000 Professional.
I have lost my web folders and don’t know how to get them back. Frontpage won’t open
a web without them, (In order to open a web I have to open Internet Explorer and then
use the edit button – and even then I cannot save any new pages back to the web, it
redirects me to my hard drive). I understand web folders are a component of IE but
if I try to reinstall IE (I can’t uninstall cause I’m using 2000?) It doesn’t list
any components, just full/minimal or custom (I’ve tried them all) and when it’s done,
still no web folders, I’ve tried repairing and reinstalling Office 2000 Professional
and still no Web Folders, I’ve been to the Microsoft Products Update page, it says
that there are no new updates for me,except for IE 5.5 b
