How to run applications in privileged mode.

I am having a problem regarding User Accounts in Active Directory. We are going to re-structure Active Directory and implement some group and security policies to each Organizational Unit. However we are facing a serious problem.

Currently all users are logged on as local administrators. The problem lies that some applications (obviously non-Microsoft ones) need to be run with administrative privileges, and therefore we cannot “downgrade” them to Domain Users only. We have several of these applications, but until now I wasn’t able to find a solution that could simply run specific applications in privileged mode.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
