how to save routing table

I have a Linux Mandrake and hp-ux server. After adding or deleting routes in the routing table, I observed that the routing table is restored to its original contents each time server is rebooted. I have to add and delete again the routes. How to save routing table so i don’t have to do the same thing over again.
