Hi, I have a HP DV1133wm laptop that has been acting unusual. When it is first started after being off for any period of time > 10 mins the monitor will be very dim (still able to see the screen though). I initially thought it was an inverter issue, I bought a new generic one on ebay and it worked okay for about one day then the monitor when completely black. I replaced it with the original inverter from HP that was causing the issue and it still works the same as before. It would be dim then after a couple of times of flipping the screen all the way down and back up it would stay lit for the remainder of the time. I’m not sure if it requires a new inverter from HP or if it is a different problem than I am trying to fix. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Pete
