hp deskjet 648c operation with Mac Mini

question 1. Will the deskjet 648c operate with a Mac Mini?
Question 2. If so, why does mine stop after one or two printouts?
quesdtion3. If so, why did it suddently lock up on me, before any
printouts? thanks for your help.
