Hyperlink in Word 2000

When I create a hyperlink in Word 2000, the document shows the word ‘Hyperlink’ then the full link not the the title I enter, it changes it. What option did I reset to make this happen??? It is affecting all my saved documents with hyperlinks – the title to click on has changed on them all???? Help!
