I cannot enable my inspiron 5100 Dell laptop boot configuration

I have an inspiron 5100 dell laptop. I am trying to change the boot option, but it dosen’t work. It say press Alt+ d or u to disable or enable boot configuration, but it change nothing. The boot configuration is currently disabled. Can someone help me please?
