I Want to be a Security Specialist

I am currently working as a Network Admin, with a MCSE, A+ and CNE, and I find that I know a little about everything, but am unfocused in my career. I want to focus on Security, but have no hacking experience, and am only familiar with Antivirus installs, encryption, emailing practices… but not the nuts and bolts of Security. Are there certifications out there for Security specialists that I can check out? What skills will make me valuable? Any recommendations on magazines, periodicals, and Websites that I can check out? I think I have discovered my IT nitch, because I’m fascinated by Security issues, but need help getting started. Thanks…
