IBM mainframe

i know java,c c++,sql,vb,asp,linux. and now working as Web developer small company.iam interested in IBM mainframe and if i take IBM mainframe as my career will my knowledge in the above mentioned languages & experience help me in future in iBM mainframe career.Is there any applicaton of the above mentioned skills in IBM mainframe Programming .what all other knowledge help me if i take the mainframe career
