IE 5.5 final question

I downloaded IE 5.5, set up my bookmarks,
and everytime I use my bookmarks (got folders where my books are ontop of the address bar) IE opens new window (really annoying) any tips how to disable this ? Another thing is that when I open a link in new IE window , follow some links etc. decide to download something, then after i press save as, that IE window closes and download begins. And ofcourse if i want to download something from the same page, I have to follow all the links again (again, extremely annoying), tips how to disable this thingy ?
