IE 7 Click area issue with URL

I have a link in a on aspx page. It has been working fine until i recently installed IE7. When i click away from the link (in IE7) still the click event for the link fires up. Nothing wrong in the design view. Looks like it behave differently in IE7. But if i am in IE6 then this does not happen. any idea?
