Can anybody help?
I am in an intranet, we use a proxy server to share the internet. In the im i can only send text. THis is a very common problem when using proxy server, though all the IM has the option to configure for proxy but they tell u in advance they are not sure it will work. i USE MSN MESSENGER and my friend who is also in the intranet use msn mssg, when we contact each other it works but when i want to connect to somebody outside my network the webcam n voice feature is disabled, it does not work. Can someone get me a good doc about IM over proxy n ways i can make this work without the need of a router.
I have tried several forums but none could help me. I use win xp pro, the proxy server runs on win xp pro in built firewall enabled. My proxy server is JANA
