Import Oulook Mail

I have replaced a Networked Laptop running Win98/Office97 with a Desktop Running Win2000Pro/Office XPPro and cannot Import the users mail into the new machine. The Server is running Win2000. The outlook.pst file on the Laptop was store on C:\Windows. I have copied the file accross to the “Users” drive on the server-still no go. Any ideas.
