IMS Queues

I am running Exchange 5.5 SP 4 on NT Server 4.0 SP 4. On the IMS Queue on Outbound mail awiting delivery, the originator field is empty. I cannot tell the source of the email. I get this sign <>. How can I resolve this problem?
