Including the cursor in a screen shot

I am trying to take screen shots that include the cursor using windows XP home, for training purposes. I recall being able to do this before but can’t remember how I did it. Is it possilble to include the cursor without using additional program such as clipmate? I am presently using a HP net book computer. Model is compaq mini 110.
