Informal Email Greeting Grammar

When sending an informal email I open by saying:

Good Morning Sue,

My superior has stated that it must read:

Good Morning, Sue

I am wondering what your answer might be on this. I don’t want to know if it is correct to start my email in this manner, just where the proper placement of the comma should be. Thank you for your help!
