Insecure Swap Permissions

From a recent install of RedHat 6, at bootup I get a FAILED message reading that /dev/hda10 has insecure permissions(I set the size for swap at 127MB and have 64MB physical memory). The suggestion is to change from 0660 to 0600. What procedure and commands will enable me to correct this problem? Otherwise the system works well.
