Install Solaris 8 in PC

Dear Sir:

I bought a Solaris 8 for PC version, and try to install in my PC, which is using Maxtor 20 GB hard drive, and using ultrastor ultra scsi controller.
After I select English for will using language, I got the message said” Solaris installer is searching the system’s hard
disks for a location to place the Solaris install software”, then I can’t continue install the
Solaris.
Would you tell me why? and how to fix the problems? Can I add hard driver and setup port, IRQ, DMA…
or Ican’t do anything?
