Installing A Winmodem In Linux(Conexant)

Dear Reader

I am running linux at home.I have a winmodem of conexant.I got some drivers of this modem for linux containing .o and .so files.Can anybodey help me in installing that modem by telling who to install these drivers..Thanks alot
