Installing Linux on XP sytem running raid 0 striping

I’m runninig windows Xp Service pack 2 with two 125gig Hd running raid 0(striping). Is it posssible to install Linux as a second operating sytem without losing my XP operating system or any of my files. I’m knew to Linux and my computer knowledge is limmited
