Installing OpenOffice.org on W2k and Win XP

by piero . Updated 22 years, 10 months ago

As network administrator of the primaryschool I work for, I’m trying to install OPenOffice.org 1.0.3 on our computers. On our NT 4, W2k, XP PCs this gives me some problems. The installation works only for the user who installed it. A solution for the problem should be to copy the file sversion.ini in the right folder of every user. In one w2k this procedure has succeded. In another w2k and in XPs the attempt has failed and the risult was an error message concernig the application-exe file that the current-user is trying to use (ooowriter.exe or ooocalc.exe or …). Has anybody experienced the problem and found a solution?
Cheers,
Piero
