So my question is when having deleted a parition and then partitioning it and reinstalled windows xp when going through the installation where it asks u to name the computer , check date and time and then enter the 25 digit product key and u called microsoft and they say its a valid product key but it won’t let you proceed due to the error that its invalid. What would you suggest? I tried deleting and trying again to make sure wasn’t a bad installation and I used the same disk on a different computer with its own product key no problem.
My other question is that being that it is a dual core processor that if the xp home edition doesn’t work and I have a copy of vista 32 bit can i install that instead and use a product key that’s on my labtop for it instead?
