Insufficient System Resources

We’re having a problem with our server. When I tried to copy a file I’m getting an “insufficient system resources exist to complete the requestd service” message. The only way to fix it right now is to clear the event logs and reboot the server. Is there anymore way to fix this problem. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
