Intel Pro 10/100MB NIC with MAC 8.6

I need to upgrade NIC (buildtin board NIC which is 10MB) to Intel 10/100 pro PCI card. The system is PowerMAC and OS 8.6 is running. I have installed the Intel NIC on PCI slot without an issue but the OS 8.6 doesn’t seem like to know the new NIC. Any drivers I need to install?
What NIC actually should I use for this MAC?
