Intellimenu

Is there a way to turn off the Intellimenu feature of IE without editing the Registry? The Intellimenu feature is the one that puts those two little down arrows at the bottom of menus such as the Favorites. When you click on the two down arrows the remainder of your favorites are shown. (I know how to do it by editing the Registry)
