Internet Browser Will Not Connect…rest of internet works fine.

Hi there,

I am experiencing a rather peculiar issue.

My internet browsers (IE7 and FireFox3) are unable to connect to the internet after the first 10 or so minutes after startup. When I first turn on my computer, the browsers work fine, then after about 10 minutes, they are unable to connect and each page I visit yields the “Timed Out” error.

The unusual thing is, every other program I use, including instant messengers and games, retain the internet perfectly. My PS3 also keeps its internet connection and plays without issue.

I have tried refreshing my winsock, and have seen no improvement. I am unsure what other steps to take.

Any ideas?
