Internet Connection Problem

I am using a Compaq F750US with a netgear router on a school network. My problem is that randomly the wireless internet will not work with any browsers. It does not stop functioning all together, as I can still check email, and if I am streaming videos online they will continue streaming, but I can not connect to any websites. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
