Internet connection time!

The speed of my connection on my home computer is slowing down dramatically the past two weeks. I have defragged and eliminated temp files and anything I can think of in cache but its still slowing down. I have run an anitviris program and have used a clean all files but nothing seems to work. What else can I do? Any suggestions would be great.
