Internet Explore

Problem: When attempting to launch Internet Explorer, message is generated stating “Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. If you were in the middle of something, data maybe lost”. There is also a checkbox to click for send a report to micsoft or don’t send the report.

OS: Windows 2000
I have tried to unistall and reinstall the brower but the error returns.
Any help would be appreciated.
