Internet Explorer hanging

I have 1 server proxy using MS Proxy, and 30 clients. But the IE on 3 clients stop responding and the windows status displays detecting proxy setting. I configure the same setting for all workstation. What could possibly go wrong, is it IE bug or Proxy bug?
