When I try to open internet explorer, the header part opens and it says “connecting” but the screen below the header stays white and it does not open/connect. Eventually it uses 100% cpu. I can get on the internet fine through my AOL and have cleaned out all temp files, from the internet controls, etc. For certain connections, I need to go through int explorer intead of AOL so I just noticed the problem this week. I have a cable modem and last wek was able to get on through int expl just fine. It looks like the int explorer may also have been upgraded recently. Virus scan and adware scan is negative. I have an HP printer and it had given me an error that it was not connected (although I can print) and when I restart the error has gone away. I read a bout a patch problem in March with Hew Pack products and windows. I have recently upgraded to a new version of itunes and adobe. But do not know what the problem is. Any thoughts?
