Internet Explorer Problem on an Intranet

by jimklallsoo . Updated 18 years, 11 months ago

I am a domain admin and am trying to access an ordering system online via our corporate Intranet.
When i go to the website i want to order goods from i can logon using my usrename/password for the site.
However when i try to change the date i want my goods shipped by clicking a “Change date” button Internet Explorer throws up a This page cannot be dislpayed error message. Sometimes i get a session cookie may have expired but not always.

I have tried the same order on a couple of PC’s at work using using Firefox browser and i can order, change dates etc no probs.

I have tried using the online order system from my home PC also using Internet Explorer and it works ok on both mine and my friends PC, again no problems.

Cleared temp internet files/cookies etc. all to no avail on works PC’s Can anyone throw any light on what is happening here.
I’ve even added the site into trusted sites etc again all to no avail.
Does Internet Explorer deal with session cookies differently from Firefox?
