Our receiving of Internet pages has become way too slow. The browser message that we get is: ?Web site found, Waiting for reply?, this pops up immediately. It would take any where from 3 to 15 minutes to download a full page to the PC. After furtheranalyization, we realized that only the PC?s whose IP address was in a specific part of the subnet were slow. This problem was not noticed overnight. But over a period of say several months.
All the 172.24.8.x client computers experience no problems using the Internet. All others IP addresses encountered the problem of ?Web site found, waiting for reply?. This would take any where from 3 to 15 minutes to receive a full page.

Comments and observations during our testing of this issue:
? When we change the IP address of the PC to a .8, the problem disappears.
? When we change the Gateway to access the Internet from our other T1 line, the problem disappears.
? There are no other network performance issues within the LAN.
? From the Firewall server 172.24.8.15, when we do a traceroute to any of the 172.24.8.x computer, the reply is immediate, but to any other IP number in the subnet, the reply takesseveral minutes.
? We have rebooted the firewall and router several times. It did not make any difference
