Intranet setup?

Hi there,

I am using Slackware 7.0 for my distro of Linux. I am trying to setup a Intranet for the internal staff to use, but I really don’t know where to start with the DNS etc….We are not going to have the DNS registered because it is only for internal users not external users. I am not going to be connecting to a named server or any other
DNS. How should I set this up? I do not have a lot of expierence with this, I am just an network admin.
