Inventory Management

Before I reinvent the wheel, does anyone have an inventory management system that they would be willing to share. Need to track HW and SW for use in-house, client purchase, on hand. I have designed the flat sheets, but realize need a DB to do efficiently and since starting from the git-go, may as well do it right.
