Is anybody hires former convicted?

I would like to work in Information Technology industry,- I learn very fast, but the problem is that I was
convicted a few years ago :’-< ...so I would be very obliged if you give me an advise if there is any chance for me to find a good paying job after I graduate. - In what part of IT specialization I would be accepted?? Sincerely, Your friend.
