Is My Chrome Browser Under Attack?

Hi there! I recently started noticing that my Chrome browser does not display the full URL when i load websites. The https and www parts no longer appear!
I’m afraid this will let me load websites that I cannot fully scrutinize. Any help will be appreciated.
I’m using Google Chrome Version 77.0.3865.120
